Turtle Peli Batik Dress (2XL)
These dresses were a lot of fun to paint, directly reflecting my love for tropical weather. With the entire bottom of the dress covered in waves, I must have used 1/4-1/2 of beeswax each dress. Batik is a process of layering wax and dye in order to form the finished look. At the end of the process, I boil the beeswax out of the item.
The dress itself is cotton, with really nice pockets. Perfect as a summer style dress to wear on any casual occasion. True to size. For care, wash cold and hang dry. Thanks for being here!
