Purple Turtle Fiber Arts was born many years ago when I, Sarah Dembkowski, moved to Colorado and happened upon a tie dye kit. From there, I continued creating. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a fiery passion for colorful artwork. As 2026 rolls in, I aim to dial in a on several things. A steady focus on batik for starters, and that’s going well! I also challenge myself to improve my online presence. Especially here, my website.
If you’ve been here a while, you’ll notice that the ‘Fiber Arts’ is new, and is taking place of the ‘Tie Dyes’ following my beloved ‘Purple Turtle’. I found myself wanting a better way to express what is found within my booth and at the same time properly representing where my heart lies these days. Which is within multiple different fiber art mediums!
